Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground lean pork
- 8 bread slices or 2 cups of bread crumbs
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/4 minced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon sage
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt or 2 teaspoon of crushed up garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon of thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoon of ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. In large mixing bowl mix the meat together. Then add the bread crumbs. If you are using bread slices use a food processor to make crumbs. Add in the rest of the dry ingredients. In a separate small bowl beat the egg, milk, and worcestershire sauce. Then add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and use your hands to mix thoroughly. Press mixture in ungreased meat loaf pan. Spread ketchup on top of loaf. Bake 1 1/2 hour or or until meat thermometer inserted in center of loaf reads 160°F. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

- Moist, seasoned just right. Save some for sandwiches.
